Why we crop …
While there are many terrible things that need to be cured, curing cancer is my fight of choice. Each year it seems that cancer rears its ugly head and touches a friend, an acquaintance or my family. I’ve had enough. Together with my friends, we crop to cure cancer.
In 2012, I started riding in Pelotonia, a Central Ohio biking event to raise money for the James Cancer Hospital at OSU. Organizing “Crop to Cure Cancer” has helped me meet my fund raising goals, plus some, all while doing what I love with people I love.
2021 will bring another ride and another “Crop to Cure Cancer.” With the help of my bestest friend and riding partner, Felice, we’ll continue the fight to cure cancer … one die cut, one piece of card stock and one dab of glue at a time.
